Other Outputs Short film "A Morphable Model for the Synthesis of 3D Faces", by Volker Blanz & Thomas Vetter; almost 2 Mio. downloads from YouTube!
Colorized animations of microscopic insects rotating under a scanning electron microscope. The images were colorized by computing a 3D reconstruction of the insect and then transferring the color from a small set of example images painted by the artist Martin Oeggerli. The sequences were recorded for the National Geographics IMAX movie Mysteries of the Unseen World.
